In the Late Eighteenth century King Gustav III of Sweden, inspired by the court of Marie Antoinette, created this simple yet elegant style of furniture. The look is one of restrained elegance and symmetry. Each piece is individually made by craftsman using only the finest quality wood. It is then painted and hand finished using traditional techniques.
